Born in Huitzuco, Guerrero, Mexico in 1970, Carlos discovered his passion for cooking alongside his mother, Doña Teté. At 19, he moved to Chicago, where he worked his way up from dishwasher to chef de cuisine, mastering French technique while remaining deeply connected to his Mexican roots..

    Wonderful atmosphere and the service was excellent, the staff really went above and beyond. The food was exceptional! I have a dairy allergy and the kitchen ensured I had every course without dairy. Cannot recommend enough!

      What a great experience! We went to Tzuco for a work dinner and had a fabulous time. The menu is so diverse and unique, most of us ordered different dishes and tried each other’s. The queso fundito and the octopus apps were my favorite, and my salmon main was cooked to perfection.

        Went Tzuco for the first time and had an incredible meal and experience. Our server Amilcar was fantastic, great insight and recommendations. Definitely recommend trying Tzuco out, and would happily return to try more wonderful dishes!

          The service is super nice, restaurant has a beautiful look, very clean and amazing food! Will definitely be going here again when we are at Disneyland! I had their enchiladas and Brussels sprouts! I loved the enchiladas so much!

We were blown away by the creative mind of his team and how they could elevate rustic and what would have been humble dishes into works of art and excellent representations of an amazing culture!

              Fantastic high quality Mexican take out with affordable prices. The chiliquiles and egg/carne asada breakfast burrito were great, at half the price of all the other restaurants in this complex! Do yourself a favor and go here and eat on a bench or bring into the park!

                We stopped by for drinks around brunch time and had a fantastic experience! Our server, Cece, was amazing — attentive, cheerful, and friendly, even taking the time to chat with us. She made our casual outing even more enjoyable and helped create a relaxing atmosphere right here in Downtown Disney!
